Morris, IL | Well I can’t answer that but the system can’t automatically shift correct because it doesn’t know where field is compared to AB line.
If you always drove clockwise drawing lines around field would shift left. Counter clockwise shift right. Years past it would choose left automatically I think and we always switched to right. Now if you don’t press one way or the other I doesn’t shift. The left to right shift has to do with how AB was draw not what you are doing now.
I draw with an ATV 95% of time so it’s a 5’ implement and draw boundaries at same time. Never steer tractor in the field just pull in pick the line, it picks shift distance and I shift right and go. We strip till so if this system didn’t work I wouldn’t use it. Talk to someone with Trimble ask how they keep track of all there lines and different width you won’t think Agleader is too bad anymore.
