South Georgia | Its a Deere 4630 sprayer. Trimble RTK guidance. Just upgraded from Deere guidance. It was an improvement but not where I want to be. It seems to drive past the line when I'l letting the guidance system line it up on the swath. Currently the antenna is mounted center of the cab, basically above the operator's head. I have never seen anyone mount the GPS antenna that far back on a sprayer. On a tractor, everyone but Deere tends to mount the GPS antenna more rearward, near the fixed (rear) axle. | |
