Would your acquaintance be willing to go into business with you? Seems like if they have an established name and understanding of the local restaurant scene maybe you could rely on them more. Like others have said this is about the toughest business you could start, I'd rather give 30% of my profits to said acquaintance and stay in business for 20 years than struggle to make a profit from day one.
I kind of doubt that he would. He owns Louisiana style restaurants and so far only appears to have interest in that type cuisine. But that may change.
A local guy watched his wife start a small burrito shop. She did so well that he decided to open up his own version in a slightly bigger town. His new Business is thriving. He opened up a second location in a different city. Hope he treats his help better than what locals are saying. |
