Texas | Mom and pop sort of. Will be family run and owned. We’d probably never buy into a franchise. I’ve been told that franchises have a better survival rate and that makes sense.
But I can also mention that an acquaintance, with no previous restaurant experience, along with his wife started their own restaurant. They’ve been very successful at it and now have several locations under their ownership.
