I believe both radar and transmission speed are available. I think there is a pin for each. The radar would be more desirable because it would account for slippage but the transmission might be fine.

The cable that the goes to the Greenstar receiver might be to get GPS into another device. I think you are just wanting speed. I believe I did this once on a tractor of that size. I have been successful in many cases in doing this on the 7xxx - 8xxx tractors. There is a slight variation due to age but it was possible to get speed somewhere out of the inside of the cab for a 440.
