Southwestern Minnesota | What company "guaranteed" to see the lights? With a 15 day window during the winter season, maybe the probability is good enough for them to be able to make that claim and then refund all or part of the money if you don't see them? I'd love to find a trip that would guarantee me seeing the northern lights as that is on my "bucket list". I'd probably take a chance on a tour that would give me my some or all of my money back if they didn't show. The other tricky part is finding a place that is dark enough yet having something else somewhat fun to do while waiting to "hopefully" see the lights. Was this a cruise ship that was advertising it? That might be a fun way to have something else to do, but I wonder what the ocean and weather conditions would be that far north and out to sea? | |
