My family went way back in New England - like back a couple hundred years.
100+ years ago, lobster was the food of the lower class. "Sea bugs," and "sea spiders" was how the "nice" people referred to them.
It's only since WWII that lobster became a food of the type who drink their tea from fine bone china with their pinkies in the air.
So eating lobster off a paper plate, with paper napkins and a plastic fork? Historically, that's true to form.
