What time did you go there? When we were there, the "tourist" season didn't even start yet and that place was always so busy we never got in . Outside of Bar Harbor there was a place called Mainely Meats.............Offered Lobster and all kinds of meats, I was in heaven there! Other favorite place was the "Union River Lobster Pot"..........You could sit in an area and watch them cook the catch you were about to it, that place was always super busy too.

As far as lobster rolls, I had junk ones, and good ones.............Probably had the best one in Ellsworth, ME, but I can't remember what the place was called. They had a wall of pictures of all the politicians and celebrities that have eaten there. They had home made clam chowder to die for. Once you eat the real thing, the stuff in cans is junk.
