Subject: Trimble Autosteer on Deere 8420

As planting season gets underway I am having occasional issues with my Trimble System (FMX 1000/NAV Controller/all unlocks) starting to wonder off-line. Happens a few times per day with no error codes evidenced or displayed. I just get a warning when the tractor exceeds a few feet off-line. During this time, it appears no steering commands are getting to the front wheels (no steering movement). From what I have read on related posts, it seems the autosense is not the issue. The 8420 is equipped with a Deere Auto Trac Steering Control Assembly. It seems it may be an issue with the Deere components versus the Trimble equipment. Can anyone suggest if it might be more likely to be a problem within the electronics of the Auto Trac steering assembly (coil)? Or could it be the flowmeter sensor or pressure relief valve cartridges, both found in the Auto Trac Flowmeter Assembly?
Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.
