Perhaps. We have regular channel cats, blue cats and the short little pot bellied ones are bullheads up here. A real big bullhead might get a foot long, they have nubby little whiskers and a very rounded belly. They are usually darker in color and their underbelly is usually a brownish yellow. Kind of a "stock pond" kid go to. Easy to catch and provide a lot of entertainment. Sorta like bluegills. Sometimes as an adult, you catch them to remind you of "kid" days.

Years back my Dad went down in Missouri. He got to fish at one of the catfish farms. Grape soda, cornflakes and something else mixed up and rolled into a ball to stay on your hook. He said they really liked that kind of bait.

Good post. A person should NEVER let the "kid in you", leave.
