Subject: RE: flood insurance responses from insurance comapnies

SouthCentral WI
It always surprises me how people think insurance works. Everyone seems to be of the opinion that insurance companies are in the care and protection busness for their clients.

Insurance companies are in the make money business. Their job isn't to pay claims. Their job is to take in premiums. If you believe the adds they push, then that's on you. Insurance is just like stepping into a casino in Vegas. If you think you are going to walk back out that door a winner, then they already have done their job.
When you buy any kind of insurance all you have is a piece of paper. That's really all that you have. That paper will be worth whatever a bunch of lawyers and a judge decide it's worth.

The other side of this adventure, is what people try to claim as a loss. Stupidity and scams are just another part of doing business in this world. Drive your car to a place that it should never be and then call AAA to get your free tow. Run your car out of gas because "it don't cost me nothin to get a free gallon delivered". Then when the fuel pump croaks, it's these bad car companies and mechanics.

I could go on and on.
Just so you know this isn't a rant. I laugh and enjoy life. Dealing with idiots is just part of the fun. Smile..............
