Subject: Fire ant control

Hillsboro, TN
Last fall I had a terrible time cutting beans on about 50 ac. Fire ant mounds were everywhere. I'd have to stop every few minutes, it seemed, to clean of the cutter bar. Then I started having trouble with dirt building up in my clean grain auger. What products and/or procedures work best for controlling these boogers in a row crop field? Is there a granular product to mix with fertilize or is it best to add an insecticide to my burn down tank mix?
