NW Ohio,near Findlay
Usually the bore where the threads are is larger than the inside of the cylinder bore. But we use a ring compressor that you use to clamp around the pistons when installing piston and rings in a motor. Lots of oil, rock the shaft back and forth and it will slip past the threads and into the bore and slid out of the ring compressor. done many.
