South central lower michigan | I think you’ve got some great advise. Have you thought about getting into the building trades? Become a plumber, pipe fitter, electrician, carpenter, or heavy equipment operator etc. There is a big demand for tradesmen. You would make good money and start your farm on the side. Nights, weekends, and take some time off to plant and harvest. You could hold your good job with benefits and farm a heck of a lot of ground too especially if you are no till. When you get big enough to farm full time quit your job and you will always have that skill to fall back on if you need it in the future. |
