The trick with the 7300 where you remove a nut and the wheel slides off a threaded shaft is to get the wheels to 1-1/4" apart. Yetter feels they may be too close but for corn there is no way the spike can pull the corn out of the ground at 2" planting depth and that is what I am having trouble with closing the slot. If the wheels are too close then the sheetmetal frame can be replace to the lastest update but my measurements think I will be able to get it close enough. If not, modifying the bracket does not look hard anyways.
