In wheat country we do a burndown 2 weeks ahead of plant 22oz of 6lb RUP, 7.5oz 24D, 7.5oz dicamba and .5lb atrazine. Then pre-emerge balance flex or whatever and rest of atrazine. Keep in mind this usually just killing left over volunteer.


Wheat could get away from you if not careful, and you what to give it time to die and dry out, or it can be hell for wrapping up on trash whippers. So get it killed.

And may want to bump up to 40oz of 4lb RUP if wheat is very big or thick
