Ya that's what I said, unless I mistyped it. I read that the tailgate creates some sort of air bubble in the bed, allowing the moving air to glide over it, like if it was a van. But with the amount of towing and hauling I do, I'm not too worried about a small amount of fuel mileage, because I'm sure it is nothing compared to the skidloader I'm hauling, or whatever it may be.
