Yearly bush-hogging keeps it in check quite well. Doesn't do anything for the fencelines and woods, though. A blight came through here about 5 to 10 years ago that has set them back quite a bit.

And yes, this farm was one of the "progressive" ones that planted the stuff in the first place. I hate to think how many miles of "living fences" were planted on this farm alone. There were a few unforeseen consequences. #1, the stuff went wild. And #2, the fences were soon over-run with honeysuckle, which the cows would eat right through and escape.
