It's just a matter of time. I have been collecting different species and keeping them treated...so maybe my grandkids will know what an ash tree looks like, if nothing else. So far, I have white, black, and green ash. That's about all that were native to this area but I am looking for more. The Bayer product (imadacloprid + clothianidin) has worked well for these small trees. It's already too late for the larger trees but seedlings continue to emerge. The EAB seems to ignore them until they have a thick enough bark to support their larvae.
