Wife and I went south to the Carolinas for a short vacation. One thing I observed was the white ash trees are Ok down there. I asked a few people who were botanist at gardens, and none could explain why their ashes weren't dying. One guy didn't even know the north was loosing all its ash trees.

Anyone know why ash borer doesn't seem to be moving south, or am I wrong?
