I agree with agriducks.

I live work and play in a 30,000 acre flood zone/drainage district and was talking with a commercial fisherman of 40+ years about our 100 year floods that happen about every 10 and he said that the river needs to be dreaged out, that there is places that he use to fish that was 300 yards wide and 1 mile + long and 20' deep that are now completely silted in and has trees growing in it. With many more getting like it, the mighty Mississippi just don't hold the amount of water in her banks like she use to.
