Nc Ks. | I have a farm that constantly has ditches like you describe. As much water comes through it, it really needs a couple of grass seeded waterways but landlord doesn't want to do that. I've tried about every method mentioned but if there is a lot of water that drains through it, you're going to have a constant battle on your hands. On another farm that doesn't drain as much, I used a small scraper to widen and flatten the ditch so the water had room to spread out. Was fortunate enough to get a crop established before it washed out again and have been no-tilling since. So far that has held. Going to depend on the slope and amount of water as to what is going to work for you. Good luck.
