Subject: RE: Breeding time this week

Central North Dakota
I have been useing Oscar X28 from ABS for the last three years on my AI program and I love him. calving ease GREAT have not pulled one of his calves. I run about a 70lb average but man can they grow. i had a pile of bull calves outta him my first year but the females are worth the wait. My oldest son is going to show an Oscar daughter this year at the fair. She had a 84lb birth weight she came off the cow at 625lbs got put on a creep ration that we have for the show cattle not hot by no means (i want to be able to use her afterwards) and 70 days she gained 260lbs. that is with takeing into acount a abortion as well. she ended up breeding before we pulled them from the pasture. When we bangs vac the repacments the vet did a good exam and all was well.
