Driftless SW Wisconsin

t rock - 4/14/2019 14:27 Watch out Jim your pasture will never be safe to walk in again with an insane Angus female out on the prowl ! I to assumed a black bull would have been how you started ? even in your Hereford private marketing wouldn't a Baldy calf qualify ?

David, this one has a very good docility epd (DOC=+25) and I walked in the pen before the sale so I'm not too worried. ;-)

I am also very well equipped with my Hereford bulls. Between my current Schu-Lar bulls and my plan to keep a Tested A250 bull calf out of one of my Fleck/Hereford heifers I'm pretty well set for bulls for a few years.

Yes, I could sell baldies at a Hereford-influenced sale but I sell most of my birth-to-plate beef processed, frozen and retail at our local farmer's market.
