yes, should no till. Will use insecticide but if slugs are a problem will have to deal with them.... likely via pellets. Just thinking out loud here - may try to do some mimimum tillage ahead of planter like a turbo till with straight blades hoping that a little soil disturbance may help with possible slugs. This is not usually a slug problem field.
