If I had the $1,000,000 dollars in my account. I surely would not buy 155 tillable acres for a measly 2.43 % return. There are a lot better places to put your money. I made a 1/4 of your whole years worth of income on that 155 acres in the first 3 months of this year with only $55,000 in one of my 401K.
I hear what you’re saying BS, but I tend to remind folks that make a statement such as yours that you didn’t actually make it, but your account has increased in value by that much. Until you cash out or move it to money market or stable value funds, it’s simply a paper profit. Those market returns as you well know can leave as fast or faster than they found you. And the land is similar, just takes awhile longer. Hope things are going well for you, havnt seen you for quite some time!
