| Trump/Trade wars/China/Planting intentions is already factored into the markets and that is a lot of bearish news. I feel it would take some new event that the market does not see at this moment before it would really drop off the edge. I do not see the market being worried about late planting as it is only April 10th, and I myself am not worried yet, but if this weather pattern persists for much longer, we will slip past the point of getting those optimal yields. When I look back on the last 3 record breaking years, I see that the crop either gets put in early or on time, but if we happen to get into middle to late May, I think we go below trend. | |
