Good point , and I agree..... we have a snap /click igniter with no batteries in our Webber. Over the winter it was a NO GO with the igniter. For the last 10 times I've used it, one click and she lights right up. could have been cooking grease or spider webs or the fact that it was darn cold out or who know what...But Id clean and check the sparker area first before going farther. Maybe grab the electrode and see if it shocks you ?LOL!
