Lincoln, NE | Looks like a great experience. I went to Asia with the Nebraska LEAD Program and seeing how different and the same things can be up close is really eye opening. Out of the countries we visited, Thailand has much more of a visible military and police presence than China and Laos did. Thailand was also very upfront with prostitution and that people are surprised by their prostitutes. China also had 3.2 beer, which went along with the interesting food. I will say I did develop a taste for Water Buffalo while over there. The Ag stuff was very interesting too, as the levels of development were all over the place. | |
