Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS | Those pictures remind me of Fiji. While Fiji is not a communist country it is controlled by a dictatorial prime minister who was installed by the military. In the capitol city around the government buildings everything is clean and neat while out in the countryside things are exactly the opposite. The "unconnected people" (those who do not have government connections) are pretty much left to fend for themselves. I'm sure it is much the same in Cuba. The "ins" live very well while the "outs" subsist in the best way they can. I'm afraid that is where this country is headed as the far left of the political spectrum gains more and more control. |
