A hardware failure isn't going to care about one website or another. The "works on some websites but not another" sounds exactly like a DNS flub somewhere. Can think of the DNS as a phone book where your computer looks up a name (newagtalk) and gets a phone number (ip address). The DNS cache on your computer, laptop, phone, ipad, whatever is kinda like a sticky note with the number written down. If something changes the sticky note won't point to the right number and you get this kind of behavior.
Router belong to you or the ISP? If it's yours I'd suggest changing the DNS on it to one of google's public servers: either 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.
Open a command prompt and type "ping newagtalk.com" and see what you get.
Right now it's resolving to 216.245.223.146
I don't understand how all 4 devices have the same mistake at the same time. 1 of them (my wife's laptop) hasn't ever been on the agtalk site. 2 of them, using cellular data get right thru. |
