Subject: Assisted Steering

Ilderton, Ontario
I have been researching a steering system for our operation over the past 6 months or so. We run older equipment, so an integrated system isn't feasible. So I have been looking at an EZ Steer or Universal steer. I have been reading this page for quite some time and very rarely do I read about the Universal steer. I take this 2 ways. Either they are very good and folks don't have problems with them, or they haven't sold many and the EZ Steer is the dominant type.

Also, I have heard that the noise of the EZ Steer can be annoying. Is the Universal Steer the same?

I have demoed an auto steer ready tractor with SF2 and am very pleased with the accuracy. We would likely look at sf2 or T2. I'm just not real certain of the Universal system. Any Comments?
