swohio | Have always planted corn first, unless was beans going onto gravel ground, and other ground not ready, have very little of that left. In the past, corn yields dropped after May 10th area, most of the time. Lately, corn planted into June has been doing very well, only doing that because of weather. Seems odd how my corn has done really well planted middle of May into early June last number of years, again just too wet. I plant 109-113 day corn that is drying down pretty well, would you just stick to corn as early as possible and maybe just a few fields of early planted beans, say end of April. ( Pipe dream I think ) Is corn just doing well planted later just because its been cold and wet in April and very early May, I feel that if weather does get nice in late April, early May should just plant corn. Thoughts, thanks. | |
