Braham MN.
We cut box alders 25 years ago and treated stumps, killed the 100 year old pines right next to them.

I've had good luck spraying leaves of chokecherry brush and killing it, but not the nice ash or maple trees close by.

Ive smoked a few beans from drift too. I love Tordon, best thing I've ever found, I even sprayed my old yard, killed every weed in it.
