SE Iowa, Henry County | classrooms to have carpet installed on previously tiled floors. spilled milk, mud, vomit, and more occurs quite frequently in elementary. administration says will clean carpets every 5 years cause if clean too much, carpet fibers will break down. no teachers want carpet but admins ignores. what can teachers do (or call to whomever to override admin) when bad stuff to carpet happens and mold, etc starts forming and there are 4 years and 8 months remaining before carpet gets cleaned?
