NE Iowa | +1. The active ingredient of Agrotian is NBPT and is a proven urease inhibitor. In my opinion, the original poster could probably use a half rate since he is placing the UAN in a band. Agrotain treats the soil and not the N so using a half-rate in a band make sense to me. The label doesn't mention it because that would lead to less product sold. Instinct is a N stabilizer product for leaching and not volatilization but it has reduced rates on the label if band applied. I have used Agrotain for a long time and feel it is money well spent in almost all non-incorporated N situations. There are lots of generics out there so compare % active ingredient and use whatever is cheapest.
