Subject: RE: Increasing SB Yields

Lancaster, OH
From my experience (translate: "here") a metalaxyl rate equivalent to a minimum of 0.32 ai is a threshold. 0.64 is better. Ethaboxam has also been very effective in eastern IN and Ohio due to our resistant Pythium. Rhizoctonia has been a yield robber that ipconozole or sedaxane works well on. We have some wet soils where Ilevo has also performed well.

Acceleron, PPST, ApronMaxx, etc. have all worked well in some areas but each one has holes on the actives listed above.

We're going to disagree on this issue, at least with some of you. However, I've seen too many fields that lost yield due to root diseases that the plants survived but were infected with for the full season robbing yield.

Avoiding replant is not the sole reason to use a seed applied protectant.
