Good to hear from you Brett. I haven't had cotton since 2012 and not going to this year either. I have been stuck in a all bean crop for several years and really need to get into some rotation. All we have done is but burndown out about a month ago. We have been watching the water pretty close and really still not comfortable with what might happen with all the water that still has to come south. We are supposed to have enough cotton ac increase in our area that they are reopening the gin in Marvell this year. The large farm just across the cypress from me, that's where DeWitts sale is today, has been rented to the big acreage farmer from Elaine and it will be planted in cotton and it joins another large farm he already had. I am sure they will gin all there own cotton at there gin so that want help the local one.
