South Central MN | Stuff like the dextrose is supposed to feed soil microbes and get them working on freeing up nutrients, results vary by conditions however.
I *think* humic acid stuff supplies carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen to germinating seeds thus giving them a boost, could be wrong but I believe that is what it does. Might supply a small amount of trace nutrients if it is made from coal dust.
I don't have in furrow setup on my planter yet so can't play with all that stuff, just fertilizer in a 2X2 style setup. | |
