South Central MN | I would think moving the fertilizer to 3 inches out would help a lot, depends a lot on soil type and moisture what damage you could see. The corn will find it either way.
Last year I put down 50N and 26S 3 inches over at seed depth and didn't see any problems, however we were also very wet... This year going 72N and 12S. No K in either blend as it is hard to find liquid K options around here and my soils test 150-200 ppm so use broadcast instead. Thiosulfate is very salty so don't want it close to the seed either, that is why I think running 3 inches out in your case might be ok.
Edit: Don't know if it matters any but did have a humic acid product in the liquid, don't know if that buffers salts some or not... I'm not an expert on the subject just used it for the N stabilization.
