Kansas
Delta force does not rely on margin like an air based system. With delta force you set the desired weight you want on the gauge wheels. On a Deere planter I would start in the standard mode which is 100lbs of weight The cylinders will raise and lower to maintain the 100 lbs of weight

Margin is the amount of weight that could be removed from the gauge wheels and still maintain 100 percent ground contact 0 lbs of margin is never desired as sometimes we need additional weight to keep the row unit in the ground such as crossing a wheel track or going into a soil that is more dense

Margin will never match the force that you’ve selected to apply. Watch the low and high rows or better yet. Watch Fieldview or the downforce map if running a gen 3 monitor. Shouldn’t see any blue ( loss of ground contact ). Also try to minimize the areas with over 200lbs on th gauge wheels
