North Central Texas | One of the pioneers in biologicals was a friend of my dad. The first mixes came in the 50s and dad tested different versions on crops and grasses from then into the 80s. I was one of the main testers from the 90s until the big dogs bought them out 10 years ago. Does it work, yes it will but not at the rates they label. Once you reach around $500 worth of product, you can see some significant yield changes. $1000 an acre really takes off. It's the same as the ortho fertilize battle. Does Conklin or agro liquid work? Yes it does but not at a few gallons an acre as recommended. The cost to make these products really work has never been or will be effective.
I have seen and grew up around the production of this stuff. Dad always called it pee water. He was wrong. It starts out as pooh water. Dairy manure gets vated and stirred. Whole dairy manure will really do something for a whole lot less money. | |
