Subject: Biologicals future is what starting no-till was like in the 70's?

Out of 5 people I know who tried bio's , 3 quit after 1 year, 2 made money back, the other lost. The 4th quit after the 2nd year after seeing great results the 1st year, none the 2nd. The 5th decided he was in it for at least 5 years to see if there was any real change. Well he said his yields are 15% than before he started over 5 years ago now, and he is using 30% less N on corn, he said it like putting on lime, but x50 in the way the ground is now.

It seems as if you can make it though the so called "no-till slump" in which yield might dip a few years, lose a little money, before evening up or going higher than conventional, that we will see the same thing in Bio's.

Thoughts?
