Appreciate the info but you need to do something like it out in the field. Wind dries the soil and hardens it. A quick hard rain , even just two tenths can crust. How about sunshine. Dark soil warms up with modest sunshine , lighter soil says no thanks. Interesting test and appreciate the info , but really doesn’t tell much.
