| We've had Amana, Maytag, Whirlpool. (which I believe all come off the same assembly line now). Wife is a tree hugging type, always wanted the water saving models. 7 years was the max life with a repair sometime before they died. Last time washer died, I didn't ask, bought a Speed Queen washer and dryer pair. Been six years and so far, so good. My really dirty clothes I add a little Ammonia with the detergent and they come out looking really nice. Fyi the Speed Queen washer also weighed almost 40 lbs more than the Whirlpool Cabrio it replaced! | |
