Central North Dakota | My advice is 4 to 5 wire barb(your choice on cost). When I hang my top wire i put it even with the bottom of my shirt pocket (I'm about 6') and then work my way down measuring about 3/4 of my fencing plier for spacing, make as tight as possible. Cows won't usually follow the calf but cows follow cows. I helped a couple friends put up some highway fence line on a pretty busy stretch of road and they haven't had any problems. The one's neighbor has and his fence is about belly button high. Hope this helps. | |
