I would think vom., fuz, and other toxic molds are going to be growing in the grain if it sits any length of time, flood water can carry some pretty nasty stuff besides... Doubt many places would be to eager to even touch the stuff.

Because of the byproducts (distillers grains especially) I don't think ethanol plants want to mess with flooded corn, the ethanol process itself wouldn't be as affected but would generate a lot of waste product that couldn't be used for feed if they ran a bunch of corn like that.
