WC Iowa
One problem with talking varieties of crops on the internet is that some are more location dependent than others. Soybeans are one of the most location dependent crops. Varieties seem to preform best in about a 100 mile wide north to south band. The east- west band doesn't seem to be as critical. For example, a few years ago IA2102 soybeans, also sold by other companies with their variety names, were hard to beat north of HWY 30 in Iowa. They were good south of 30 but not as dominate. So, the message is, look for soybean data that is local or at least the same latitude.
