Check out the Parrot Bebop 2. Less $$ than a DJI and still a very capable drone. (I have no experience with DJI).
Fly times are around 25 mins, with the sky controller has a range of a mile, and about 1000ft with only a smartphone. Takes great quality pics and videos, only downfall I see with it is 8gb internal memory that's not expandable.
Very happy with mine.
