You may have lowered your yield with a couple inches through the pivot because your roots may not have gone down to get full nutrients. Also upping population does not always up the yield.
Your payback at a 205 aph will be small especially when you can grow 255 corn. You need to figure insurance rates vs the additional costs, in a bad year your expenses will be high but your lower yield might wash out with the insurance check. You can figure into your costs $150 per ac to own a pivot and well.
But with all that being said though if you don't have to borrow much on it I would do it.
